Card processing
Stripe charges 1.5% + 20p per transaction on all bookings. This is the standard Stripe rate, settled on your connected account, not an additional platform fee.
Multiple workspaces
Your first supplier workspace is included. Additional workspaces for separate brands or businesses are £19.99/month or £199.90/year, each with Pro features included. Studio is the layer above that when you want shared oversight across them.
No hidden costs
No per-lead credits, no booking commissions on paid plans, and no charges to browse or receive opportunities. The free plan's 6% marketplace fee is the only platform cost beyond Stripe processing.

Is Build My Event really free for event organisers?
Yes. Planning an event, browsing and comparing verified suppliers, requesting quotes, messaging, e-signing contracts, and managing payments are all free. You only pay each supplier for the services you book — there are no booking fees added by us.
What kinds of event suppliers can I book?
Fourteen categories, including photographers, videographers, DJs, live musicians, caterers, mobile bars, florists, decorators, venues, entertainers, equipment hire, event planners, content creators, and photo booths — enough to assemble the full line-up for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and celebrations of any size.
How are suppliers verified?
Every supplier completes ID verification through Stripe Identity before they can send quotes or take payments. Profiles also show packages, real-time availability, experience, and reviews from previous events, so you can book with confidence.
Can I compare quotes and manage contracts and payments in one place?
Yes. Compare structured proposals side by side, accept the one you want, e-sign a digital contract generated from it, and pay deposits, instalments, and balances securely — all inside the same event workspace.
Can I plan more than one event at a time?
Yes. Each event gets its own workspace with its own suppliers, proposals, contracts, and payment schedule, so you can run several events side by side without anything getting crossed.

Choose 'List your business' to create a supplier profile for free. Add packages, availability, and a booking-ready page, then start receiving direct enquiries and matched marketplace opportunities. Paid plans remove the marketplace fee, increase quoting capacity, and unlock more tools to help you run bookings — there are never any per-lead charges.
How do suppliers get paid?
Directly to your own bank account via Stripe Connect. Deposits land when the organiser pays and instalments arrive on schedule. You set the payment terms, and we never hold your funds.
